Winner Creek Hike

We woke up this morning and had some great breakfast!  Then we ran to Target and Fred Meyer.  I needed new sunglasses from Target and while we were in there we also got a Nalgene for Mac since he likes to drink out of ours and Joe got the movie "The Lorax" which came with a "Lorax" mustache.  I wore it.  Then Joe wore it.  We need to get a picture of Mac with it on....

Then we got a text from Caryn and Nick asking if we wanted to go on a hike at Winner Creek with them and of course we said "yes"!  On the way, we ran into "traffic" because of Dall Sheep (no kidding).  Also on the way this is what I saw....

When we got to Girdwood it was really busy!  Alyeska was having the blueberry festival!  We just went through though and went straight to the trail.  Bella went with us and she actually made it the whole way but now she is super exhausted.  The hike is just over 5 miles round trip.  Mac wanted to walk part of the way and then pitched a GIANT fit when we put him back in the hiking pack.  We thought that Mac would fall asleep on the way back home but he did not.
