Matanuska Glacier

Today, we went roadtripping....we decided to venture where we haven't yet been to.  Matanuska Glacier.  It is about a two hour drive North.  Once we got out of the Anchorage area, it got sunny!

We had to stop at Mirror Lake for a potty break and to feed Nora.  We ended up having to get back in the car because the mosquitos were terrible.

A little excited because he peed outside.

We stopped at a couple of scenic overlooks to take pretty pretty pictures.

Look how big Mac is getting next to me!  Hard to believe that he is 3!

Milk coma.

We stopped at the top of the hill/mountain thing to find out how to get down to the glacier.....

And this is where you paid at the bottom of the hill/mountain thing....

So you drove back like 1-2 miles and parked in a mud/rock filled parking lot.  I decided to wear Nora in the sling and Mac was going to walk with Joe.  Off we went.  Mac had a great great great time going over the "bridges" and seeing the mud.  There was a lot of mud.  I had a little bit of a difficult time because I was a little front heavy carrying Nora but the views were gorgeous!

Mac's victory dance at the top!
