Sunday Driving

Today was the first day that I felt like a human being...well a human being who's body is currently owned by another human being who has decided to NEVER vacate.  Spending my week battling a stomach flu and contractions was NOT enjoyable.  However, my mama came up on Friday early to take care of us.  She is the best!  Anywho.  Today I felt like a human being so we decided to take a drive.  Once again, we headed south (probably need to head the other direction at some point).  We up through Thompson Pass to go to the Turnagain Pass dog training ponds.  And once again, we had Heyward in the back.  We kinda got a little lost but we eventually found our way!  We packed sandwiches for a picnic which made Mac super super excited.

Oh, and don't judge my giant belly.  I was REALLY surprised that my jacket even zipped over that warlock.

After we ate, it was time for Heyward to play.  We very quickly discovered that that silly dog does not chase tennis balls into water.  However, he will go into water for dog treats.  Joe and Mac were throwing them pretty shallow for a little bit just to get them in.  Joe decided to throw one pretty far out to see if Heyward would go get it.  Heyward took a giant leap into the water and literally got about halfway to the treat before he turned around and decided he would just wait.  I am sure that water was pretty cold but it was kind of hilarious to watch.

Then, Mac decided to spend some time just throwing random stuff in the water.  He particularly likes throwing rocks and branches in the water.
