Spongebob goes to the doctor

Right now we are watching "Cars".....again.  This is the 3rd time we have watched it this week.  I am getting a little tired of watching this movie but Mac loves it.  I guess he kind of deserves it after being so good at the doctor today.

I met Joe and Mac at the doctor's office after hitting up Barnes and Noble to kill a little time.  I got a Kitchen & Bath magazine (I want to get ideas for our kitchen and the bathroom downstairs), a clearance book for me, and a book for Mac ("Spongebob goes to the doctor").  Joe got nada.

Mac had a good time exploring the doctor's office while we were waiting.  He was naming everything (chair, orange, bubbles, book, flower...).  His vocabulary is getting so big!

He is saying "flower" in this.....

Exploring

Dr. Karaganis came in and asked since we were doing one shot did we still want to give him a flu shot (we said yes).  When she shut the door to go prepare the shot, Mac pointed to the door and said "no."  Ha like that was going to change how many shots he got....

Summary of the doctor's appointment:

Mac is in the 90th percentile for weight (which means he weighs more than 90% of toddlers his age) and in the 75th percentile for height (he is taller than 75% of toddlers his age).  He seriously is 35 inches tall.  So my 2 year old is almost 3 feet tall!  CRAZY.  Our doctor said that he is doing everything that he needs to be doing and that he looks good.  She did question his crazy hair.......

"debil"

Mac woke up the devil.  He yelled continuously.  NOOOOOOOOO.  NOOOOOOO.  NOOOOOOOO.  STOP IT.  He did not want us to change his diaper.  He did not want to have new clothes on.  He did not want socks on.  He did not want shoes on.  He did not want a coat on.  He did not want to go in the car seat.  I felt really bad for Erica when I left to go to work because I was sure he was going to be a "debil" all day.  However, I was wrong.  Apparently he was really good for Erica.  However (again), he was super cranky when he got home.  He was put in time out seriously within 20 minutes of being home.  CRANKY.  Joe needed to run to the store and for a big whopping 2.5 minutes I was able to get Mac to hang out in my lap....

He then turned into Godzilla again.  As in throwing a book Godzilla.  WHOA buddy.

I made this waffle, sausage, egg, cheese casserole thing for dinner.  Apparently, it took that to get Mac out of his devil mood.  He tore it up!

My men had a great time playing....

I took this picture yesterday but I don't think I posted it....

The beards are back!

As soon as Joe gets back with my Mint Mint Chocolate Chocolate Chip ice cream from Cold Stone, we are going to watch the new episode of Duck Dynasty!  YAY!  I LOVE LOVE LOVE that show!  Mac is already in the bed.

Dinner has been eaten and leftovers have been frozen.  Tonight was "new recipe night" and we had a Brazilian Shrimp Soup.  OH MY GOODNESS!

And yes...we have a theme for each day.  Monday is usually slow cooker.  Tuesday is breakfast.  Wednesday is something new.  Thursday is fish (either salmon or the halibut that we have in our freezer).  Friday is a whatever night....

This Cash family watched "Cars" after dinner.  I am pretty sure that I am going to have that movie memorized soon.........

Here is a picture of one of my views...

"My mobie" & "broke it"

On workdays (minus Wednesday), Joe leaves the house before I do.  He takes Mac to Erica's around 7 in the morning.  I usually leave like 5 minutes after him.  This morning when I back up out of the garage, I look over to my left and there was a giant moose eating one of the bushes in our front yard!  What did I do?  Rolled down my window and took pictures.  I kept backing out of the driveway and then pulled up next to the moose....rolled the other window down and took more pictures!

Last night, I had gotten a pot roast ready in the slow cooker so when I got home from work our house smelled AMAZING!  Joe sauteed up our fresh green beans with some bacon and oh my goodness amazingness!

Today, Joe and I ordered a monthly box from a company called "Citrus Lane."  Once a month, Mac will get a box in the mail with age appropriate, gender specific, themed stuff.  They have things like toys or books or snacks, etc. We are super excited.  I had a coupon code for half off of our first month too!  The link below is for every "friend" we get to sign up for "Citrus Lane," they get $10 and we get $10.  SUPER CUTE!

Mac has decided that his new favorite phrases include:

broke it
fix it
my mobie (movie)

Dirty trucks and stinky babies!

Hey Blogosphere readers! Jami and Mac were sick this weekend, I felt so bad for them! I got back from Homer on Friday. It was a good trip that required a lot of driving for two days. I made it about 450 miles on one tank of gas! My truck gets great gas mileage at 55 mph. It go filthy on the way down:

When I took it to the carwash later people looked at me like I was crazy! Oh and on the way down, going through the pass, the snow was higher than my truck in some spots...

It snowed the night that I got there so on the way back I passed trucks plowing the side of the road. That is a crazy experience because they are driving like 50 mph and shooting the snow way up in there air. This picture doesn't do it any justice but you can kinda see how high the snow is being thrown in the air:

Jami and Mac didn't feel good this weekend, so they lounged and tried to get better. This was Jami's view pretty much all day:

Mac stayed in his pajamas all day Saturday:

And cuddled with Mommy:

And had some random meldowns:

But on Sunday everyone was feeling a lot better so we went to mess around in Lowes! Mac loved playing in the kitchen section. He opened every drawer in that place!

Oh and speaking of stinky babies, Mac had some serious gas issues this weekend. He was ripping them. He is definitely flatulent in many languages. I think he is in the top of his gas....

Gas leak

Yesterday (Tuesday), I had a gas leak in my classroom and we had to be evacuated from my room.  It was pretty bad.  I had to use my asthma inhaler 2 times which is something I have not really had to do at all since moving to Alaska.  Today, I feel terrible.  Apparently, being exposed to gas jump starts my chest cold.  I am losing my voice.  It is awesome.

After eating an awesome dinner (biscuits and gravy), I decided to lay on the sofa.  Mac spent some quality time on/with me.  I must say that Mac gives the best hugs and the sloppiest kisses (kind of gross but he is my son so I deal).

Look at how big those feet are!

Today, I officially finished Mac's 2nd birthday book.  I made it through Shutterfly and I really like how it turned out.  I got really excited while I was on Shutterfly and went ahead and made Mother's Day gifts and a nanny gift for Erica.  I love that website.

The PARTAY

So there are A LOT of pictures from Mac's Spongebob party.  The party is deemed a success!  There were so many people in our house and it was crazy (which I loved).  As there are a GAZILLION pictures from the party I am just going to copy in the link for the folder on Shutterfly....hopefully it works (copy and paste the URL).

The toddlers decided that an awesome game was to throw balls over our railing.  It got pretty intense for a while but they were super enjoying themselves.

The babies also wanted in the crib to play.  They are silly.

Mac got so many presents.  It was a good thing he had a lot of help....

Next thing is the cake.....this was an interesting experience.

He really wanted NOTHING to do with it.  So what does my awesome husband do?  SHOVES HIS FACE IN IT.  What does that equal?  Meltdown.  Level 5.

Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? pt. 2

Again, talking about Mac's bday......We got some pictures before the party......

SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS!

Obviously Mac's 2nd birthday party theme was Spongebob.  His real birthday is on Tuesday but since we had both grandma's in town we did the party on Saturday the 16th.  I had a great time coming up with Spongebob themed things.....
