Sleepy Chunk

My daughter is beyond adorable.  Her chunkiness is just oh so cute.  It never fails to crack me up that I have a daughter who is just that chunky.  Her belly isn't as chunky as the rest of her.  I am pretty sure that all of her weight is in her face.  Chunky.  I can't believe that she will be 6 months old on Monday!  WHAT?!

Check out the sweet sleeping (snoring) Godzilla!

Playground Fun

Yesterday, we bundled up the family, strapped Nora in the stroller, and walked down to the elementary school playground.  We had about two inches of snow at that point and it made everything oh so beautiful.

Once we got to the playground, we had family slide races and family swing time.  We didn't stay out for a super long time but it was great fun!

Get ready for video overload.....

Christmas Errands

We ran a lot of errands today!  We ran over to Bells' Nursery to see if they had a potted Christmas tree. They didn't.  We did end up with these cool porch reindeer.  SOO cute!

After Bells' Nursery we ran by the mall so Mac and Nora could have pictures with Santa!  Mac did a really really good job!  Hopefully he does as good tomorrow when we go take family pictures.

A Girl & her Dog

Heyward loves Nora.  LOVES.  As in REALLY LOVES her.  Whenever she is on the ground, he is right near her.  If she fusses, he goes over and checks on her.  Sometimes licks the drool or snot off of her face (gross but kind of sweet at the same time).  He is incredibly patient with her.  She pulls on his fur, on his whiskers, on his jowls and he just doesn't care.  It has to hurt him but he never does anything about it.  I am pretty sure that Heyward thinks that Nora is his baby.  It makes me smile to watch.  Heyward definitely loves Nora more than Bella does.  Maybe that's because Bella thought Mac was her baby when Mac was a baby?  Either way, Heyward loves my baby and is amazingly patient with her.

See?  Doesn't get much cuter than that!

Christmas Set Up

We broke down and put up our Christmas decorations.  It makes me happy every day when I come home.  I love this time of the year.  LOVE it!

We got a new tree skirt!  I love our Christmas tree! I was a little sad when we opened our ornament box because the little Santa handprint ornaments that Mac has made for the past two years, they were both broken.  It made me sad.

We got new family Christmas stockings!  I ordered them from Pottery Barn and they are monogrammed with our names.

Joe and Mac put up lights on my Mother's Day tree in the yard.  Joe still needs to put up the lights on the house.  Maybe we can get that done this weekend.

Reflection Lake Part Dos

Yep.  We went back to Reflection Lake today.  This time we met up with the Lindeen family.  AND we brought ornaments to decorate our own random trees in the woods.  So much fun!

Mac was a little bit of a devil so at one point he got a spanking. Not that he could feel it through all of the layers.  DEVIL.  He's just so dang cute.  He has been a little bit of a handful this weekend though.  I am exhausted!

Yes, he peed outside again.  He was trying to write his name. There was NO WAY I was letting him in the NASTY yurt bathroom thing.
