Banks & Bouncers

Mac's new piggy bank came in the mail today!  I am pretty sure that Joe and I were more excited which is saying a lot because Mac was crazy excited.  He wants to do chores to get coins for his bank.  Who would think that a penny could buy you so much????  Oh and he also wanted a photo shoot with his new bank....silly boy.

We decided to bust out Mac's old Baby Einstein bouncer for Nora today.  She does a pretty decent job of holding her head up.  Joe put it together (with Mac's "help").  While Joe was putting it together, Nora was doing some serious drooling on the sofa while doing tummy time.  Once she got in her bouncer, she honestly didn't want to get out for a while.  Sooo cute!

All of that hard playing wore my little Chunk out.  WORE OUT.

Tomorrow my big girl is going to be 4 months old!  WHAT?!  She goes to the doctor tomorrow for her 4 month shots and Mac has to get his flu shot.  This is going to be fun.  Hear that sarcasm flowing through the screen.  I am pretty excited in a weird way to find out how much she weighs now.  I pulled out Mac's baby book (which I desperately need to update) to see how Nora compares in weight to Mac.  She is actually smaller than him.....but not much.  Nora at 3 months was 14 pounds 6 ounces and Mac was straight up 15 pounds.  Stay tuned........

Camping + Fall Festival

I guess what we do is probably not considered camping.  I think it is considered "glamping" (aka glamorous camping).  Whatever.  We like it.  We took our camper out for the last time of the season about 2 weeks ago.  Yes I am behind in blog posts.  Whoopsie.  We really like this campground.  I think we might try to always do our last camping weekend at this place which means that when the pick it yourself farm has it's fall festival we will be camping.  Our friends the Marvels met us out there and we got to spend the entire weekend with them.  They are some pretty cool people.  The boys go to daycare together and are best buds.  They actually get along pretty well which is great.

On Saturday, we hit the Fall Festival at Pyrah's Pioneer Farm.  The boys rode rides, saw their friends Mason and Finn, picked veggies, did a maze, and we bought homemade caramel.  Such a fun day!!!!

Ok.  I have been loading these pictures for two days now and I am tired of it.  There are more pictures from that awesome weekend but I am too impatient to wait on the pictures to load.  :(

Congested Chunk

My poor little girl has a cold.  She sounds better today than she has for the past like 4 days.  Lots of eye goop and runny nose and snorting.  We have been going through burp clothes like no other (yep using them to whip her grossness).  Hopefully she gets to feeling better soon.....Chunk has her 4 month doctor's appointment on Wednesday.  I cannot believe that she is 4 months already!

Even though my chunk has a no bueno cold, she is still playing and smiling and laughing.

This weekend I also got some snuggles in with my devil son.  WHEW.  He has been a giant handful.  We are currently living in the land of "why."  Shoot me now.

Mac finally got his hair cut this weekend too!  It always makes me sad to see his curls go but he totally needs it!

While we were out running errands on Sunday, we saw a mama moose and her baby.  Right behind them was this giant moose with a huge rack.  HUGE.
