Misc blog post!

So I haven't done a post in a while so there are a bunch of random things that I have to show off. Number one, our house! Its pretty much done being painted! Might have a couple of spots that need to be touched up but just about there!

Here's a picture of the sunset tonight, the days are getting shorter...

And here are a couple of pictures from the fall festival that we didn't post earlier:

FAMILY: Walkin on Sunshine.

I have that song stuck in my head.  I'm walkin on sunshine.....WHOAOOOAAAAA.......

As I am typing this, I have zucchini with mozzarella and italian dressing in the oven.....Joe is making salmon burgers.....our house smells amazing!  We have started putting basil in our salmon burgers instead of cilantro and it takes them to the next level.  Who knew that I could get this excited about salmon burgers?  Mac wanted to see what Joe was doing.....so he dragged a chair over and stood on it.

Here is a picture of Mac when we were out running errands yesterday.  It was right after his nap and you can't see it super great in the picture but his hair was INSANE.  As always.

A friend of mine posted this picture on Facebook and it is exactly how I feel.....

Last big Cash family news, Heyward graduated from his next level of puppy class.  Wish he would transfer that knowledge to not digging up our yard......

We went to the grocery store today and I saw a Christmas decoration magazine (don't judge).  We got it.  I am crazy excited about actually decorating our house for Christmas this year since we are going to be here!  Joe has convinced me to let him get a real tree (let's see how this works out with my asthma) and in return I get all the Christmas decorations that I want.  I am going to put our small fake tree upstairs on the landing.  The downstairs is going to have a red, white, and tan theme thing going on.  I am just a little excited. Ha.

And I going to leave you with this.  My amazing husband is making me oatmeal chocolate chip cookies.  I am super spoiled.

FAMILY: Chim-Chimeny Chim-Chimeny Chim Chim

When I got home today, I let Heyward out in the yard and then I heard him barking.  He never barks.  I go outside to discover that Heyward is barking at a man on the chimney on our neighbor's house.  What was amazing was the guy was wearing a top hat!!!!!!!!!

When Mac got home, we had some major snuggle time while watching Bubble Guppies.  I hate Bubble Guppies but Mac LOVES it.

We had creamy chicken and tomato soup for dinner.  It's a slow cooker meal and I really like it.  We served it over rice which was even better!  Mac of course picked the rice out.  He had a great time transferring rice from one bowl to his.  "Mommy, I get more."

Ok. Well I tried to load a video but the stupid program won't let me.....AARRRRGGGGHHHHH.  Joe needs to find me a new blog host.

FAMILY: Mac

My son is crazy.  He talks crazy.  He plays crazy.  His hair is crazy.  Crazy crazy crazy.

He made art at "school" today and it made me super happy.  He drew his hair.  Ha.

After dinner, we were laying around watching the football game when Mac passed gas.  He looked at Joe and said "oh, that's a number two."  Which he then continued to repeat over and over.  I have been trying to convince Joe that he can also do blog posts.....obviously that is working out real well for me.

ALASKA: Fall Festival

Pyrah Pioneer Peak Farm had their Fall Festival today.  The farm is located out in Palmer and we have never been to it or the Fall Festival before.  I was pretty excited about this!  We kind of got a little lost on the way out there (stupid iPhone took us off the beaten path).....However, the drive was gorgeous!

When we finally arrived, we were astonished at how many people/cars were there!  I had no idea that it was this busy and popular!  Once we got in, we headed to the pumpkin patch!  We didn't get a pumpkin yet because we are still so far off from Halloween but it was still fun!

They also had animals!  Mac was not too sure about petting the horse....

They also had this ride thing that was pulled behind a lawn mower (yup, a lawn mower).  Mac had a great time with it!

There was also a maze that Mac LOVED.  He just ran around like a crazy person!

After the maze, we headed to stand in line for this cow ride thing.  They had barrels painted like cows and they were pulled by a 4-wheeler.  Mac LOVED it too!

We were going to stand in line for some lunch (the funnel cakes smelled DELISH) but the line was taking FOREVER and we decided not to wait.  What we did find though was a lady who made homemade caramel.  It was amazingly good so of course we bought a jar of it!  We then just sat around listening to this random band play.

Caryn and Cayla got here right before we were going to leave so we let the kids do a ride together before we left.

We headed out to the car.......Mac wanted to run through the field!
