Ketchup.

This morning the weather man said we were going to get a dusting of snow.  He lied.  It snowed a wet snow almost all day.  My student teacher has taken over my afternoon classes so I went to a copy room and here was my view (you can't really tell how hard it is snowing)....

I was going to go to the gym after work but people were talking like the roads were super bad so I just went home (the roads weren't that bad).  Mac decided to lay on me to watch Spongebob.

I made meatball sandwiches and french fries for dinner.  Mac always gets up at the table with us when we eat (family time).  He has discovered a love for ketchup.  LOVE.  He would dip the french fry in the ketchup and then just suck it off the fry.  Weirdo.

Of course because he got ketchup everywhere, he needed a bath.  He spent a lot of time dancing in the bathtub.  Silly baby.

He picked out a Christmas book for Joe to read to him tonight (he says his version of "story" which is "shory").  We always turn his light out afterward, kiss him goodnight, I sing to him (you are my sunshine), and then I tuck him in.  Sweet moments.

Kisses. Dancing. Shared bathtime.

Today was a bad day at work.  Whatever.  There is really nothing I can do about it but what does make my day SUPER amazing is coming home, putting on my pj's, and seeing Mac run through the door yelling "mommy."

Joe went to the gym so I was able to spend some quality alone time with my little man.  This translates into we spent some time cuddling on the sofa.

He kept wanting to hold my hand.  His little hand is so sweet and it makes me so happy when he holds my hand while we are just sitting around.

When Joe got home from the gym, Mac decided the best place ever to lay was on my head.  He is silly.

I also got LOTS of kisses.  I love Mac kisses.

After Mac had some french toast (Tuesday is breakfast night).  He got a little bit of syrup on him so it was definitely bath time.  He had a grand time dancing in the bathtub.  That's right.  Dancing.  Joe showed him the youtube video "Afro Circus: Music Video."  Mac LOVES that video/song.

GET READY FOR VIDEO OVERLOAD.

While he was in the bathtub....Bella decided she wanted in too.....and Mac wanted to help dump water on her.

Don't mess with the cars.

Mac came home today with blood on his shirt.  He's ok.  He just fell down at Erica's and bit his tongue.  Bled a lot.  Walk it off.  Rub some dirt in it.

Joe decided to irritate the ever loving crap out of Mac.  The best way to do this is to move his cars when he has them perfectly lined up.  Want proof?  I video'ed it.

After Joe was done irritating Mac, they decided to snuggle.  Mac laid on Joe's chest while watching Spongebob and I am pretty sure this is the cutest picture EVER.

Mac then decided to lay back just like Joe....and oh my it is adorable as well!

And then Mac got a little burst of energy and "CHEESE".....

This Cash family spent some quality time playing on the sofa together.  Mac never fails to make me giggle.  Even when he is throwing giant fits that I am not really sure how we are going to get him to stop doing them.  I love him.  Part of the Cash family playing on the sofa was Joe "bench pressing kinda" Mac.....I also got that on video.

After Mac went to bed, I went to the gym for my Monday night Zumba class.  Only made it 50 minutes because my instructor was KILLING us tonight.  I came home and landed on the sofa to watch my favorite show The Biggest Loser.....

Superbowl!

Today was the Superbowl (I didn't really care about either team) but we did have some people over....aka some of Joe's softball team.  Joe was super excited about cooking ribs (imagine that).  I found a new white queso recipe that turned out AMAZING (yup found it on Pinterest).  We did buy into this square thing which I cannot even begin to describe but none of us won.  Mary came closest to winning!

We tried to get Mac to take a nap and that was totally not successful.  He never really got cranky though so oh well!  Mac got a little irritated with me taking pictures of him.  He is just so darn cute though!

Despite how the pictures look, there was a lot of people in the house!  10 adults, 2 toddlers, a puppy, and Bella.

When the power went out in the Superbowl, the babies (Mac and Cayla) decided that I was the lap to sit on....

And my big man always loves sitting in my lap!

Bouncing Bears

This morning I got a text from our friend Caryn asking if we wanted to meet at Bouncing Bears (inflatable indoor thing).  Of course we said yes!  Mac loves that place!  When we go to Bouncing Bears we try to get there right when it opens because there is not so many crazy big kids running around.

He really liked to just sitting at the top.

 A look of determination

Nothing makes me happier than these 2 guys

 vroom vroom

He REALLY just liked sitting at the top

This picture looks like Mac is super fast.  That is a lie.  Cayla is a climbing BEAST!

Joe had to go with him to make sure he wouldn't just camp out at the top.

I am keeping an eagle eye on my little man.  Had to regulate some against hoodlum "big" kids.  Don't mess with this mama.

 Loving my little man!

 Starting to get tired.

Ready for some videos????  Mac climbing.....Mac flipping down a slide (Joe shoved him).....Mac sliding some more.... (sorry the quality isn't super awesome but they were done with phones)

Mac was SUPER tired when we got home.  As in he took the longest nap EVER.  I am not kidding.  A 4 hour nap!  Bouncing Bears wears him out and he loves it!  He got up to play with his trucks....and they have to be lined up just so.....

After a couple hours of play, little man started getting sleepy again.  What does he do?  Goes and gets on the sofa, pulls up a blanket that I usually lay under, and watches "Bob."

Shrimp Recipe!

Joe and I have gotten into trying new recipes lately!  I found this shrimp recipe on Pinterest and oh my goodness good!

1 pound uncooked, deveined shrimp
1 lemon
1 packet italian seasoning
1 stick of butter

Melt butter and pour in pan (we used a 9 x 13 baking dish).  Slice up the lemon and place on butter.  We deveined, shelled, and took off the tails of our shrimp.  They go in next.  Sprinkle the italian seasoning over the whole shebang.

Put in the oven at 350 for 15ish minutes or until done.

Yummy!  We ate ours with a baked potato (with cheese, sour cream, and cajun bacon) but a salad or greens would be good too!

I. Am. Exhausted.

I have been doing a lot of research lately into Endometriosis and how I can help myself.  I don't have the pain that I used to have all the time.  The major symptom of Endometriosis that I have is exhaustion.  This week has been exceptionally difficult.  I have been beyond tired.  Work is super strenuous, in fact this has been a slower week for me.  That is when it dawned on me.  I have Endometriosis and I am going to be tired.  Sometimes more than others.  This week is the "more than others."  I didn't work yesterday and I only worked a half of a day today.  Hopefully, I can just get over the tiredness.

Mac was wanting waffles when he got home.  He jumped up in his high chair and started going nuts.  I didn't manage to get the major part of the fuss on video but I did get some....

So he ate.  I put Spongebob on the TV.  He loves that show.

I watched Mac play for a while (it's the best thing ever).  While Joe was cooking dinner, I brought Mac down some crayons and decided to get him going on coloring "thank you" cards.  He likes to color!

Joe fixed us salmon covered in pesto.  DELISH.

Mac always sits at the table with us while we eat dinner.  He usually eats a couple of bites off of our plates. He TORE up the salmon.  As in, he was picking up the crumbs he dropped on the table and shoving them in his mouth.
