HOLIDAY: Tree is up

Yup, you read that correctly.  Our Christmas tree went up today.  My philosophy is that since our tradition is to put it up the day after Thanksgiving and this year we are going to be in Georgia then it is ok to put it up early.  There are even presents wrapped under the tree!  What?!

Mac helped Joe put ornaments on the tree.  He is so stinking cute.  We were trying to get it put up while he was napping but that did not work out so well for us as he did not take a nap.

FAMILY: Going to the dogs

My dogs are constantly laying next to me.  Every time I sit down, Bella immediately lays across my burgeoning belly. Heyward just lays at the end of the sofa of where I am at.  They are funny.  Heyward is still hyper (I mean he is 9 months old so it is what it is) but he has calmed down a good bit since being neutered.  He spends a lot of time sleeping at my feet!

We did hit up Target this weekend (it's my favorite place).  Mac picked out two ornaments and he danced to the Christmas music.  Silly little man.  I think he has a cold because he slept until 9:30 yesterday morning and he took a 3.5 hour nap.  Today, he made up for it by not napping.

HOUSE: Stainless

This weekend our new appliances were delivered and installed.  Joe elected to install the dishwasher himself.  Ha.  It took longer than he expected.  Mac also decided to pitch in and help!

I LOVE my new appliances!  I love the new modern look.  Now I can't wait to redo the rest of our kitchen.  That will have to wait because I have bigger things that I want done!

BABY UPDATE: November 15

I had two doctor appointments today.  I had an ultrasound.  I had a regular doctor's appointment.  They took blood.  I was a little worried because I have been really really crampy today. It was only on my right side and pretty consistent about every 3 minutes.

So the first appointment updates:
The baby looks great.  Nugget is measuring just over 2 inches in length.  Nugget moves like crazy (gonna have my hands full).  I was able to see the heart beat, the brain, the bladder, the limbs, profile, nose, jaw.....It is amazing how clear some of the pictures were.  They were looking for specific things so the setting was such on the machine that it wasn't as clear as it was for my appointment last week.  I did get a 4d picture!!!!!!!!!  The baby is measuring right now with a due date of May 26th but they are not going to change my official due date at this point.

So the next appointment:
I have gained 6 pounds.  Dr. Hinkle says I look great and everything looks good.  He is thinking that my cramping might be a UTI so I had to take a test for that.  He liked the preliminary results from the ultrasound at this point.  Official results from their tests come back next week I think.

Mac LOVED seeing pictures of the baby.  However, when he saw the 4d picture he began fussing at me for "squishing the baby" and that I was "bad squish baby."  It was kind of cute.  He LOVED LOVED LOVED looking at the baby ultrasound pictures.

DAYCARE: Just a day in Mac's life

Erica and Amy take care of Mac during the week.  Amy does pre-school with the two year olds on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Mac LOVES them.  Some of these pictures are from when it was still warm outside....

Yesterday Amy took the toddlers outside for some play.  I completely spaced on sending him with a snowsuit and so Mac had to go into one that they had......and the one they had was Amy's youngest daughter's snowsuit.  He looks irritated in this picture and I originally thought it was because he was in a pink snowsuit.  Amy told me though that he was making that face because he was in time.  He was in time out because he knocked over their snowman.

Also either on Wednesday or Thursday, Erica had a visitor.  A giant moose came in the yard and the toddlers were able to sit at the window and watch it!  Education in Alaska!

Mac also made hand art for Thanksgiving!  It is so incredibly cute!!!!!!!

HOUSE: Stainless Steel & furniture

Joe has been working for about a week on the new entertainment center.  He got done with it last night and it looks amazing!  I love it so much more than our old one!  It suits our ginormous TV way better.

Today some guys came by to install the new microwave (dishwasher and range gets installed on Saturday).  Here is what it looked like before.....yuck.

Here is the new microwave!

FAMILY: Funday Monday

Ha.  Mondays are not really fun.  I just like that Funday rhymes with Monday.

I had long since left for work when Joe got Mac up this morning and this is what he found.....

When I get home from work, I usually beat Joe home so I let out the dogs.  This was the scene that Joe came home to today......

Joe took a belly picture for me today.  It is cracking me because my students are staring at my belly but no one has asked yet if I am pregnant.  Hahahaha.  Pure entertainment right there.

We headed to Lowes pretty soon after Joe got home so we could get some sealer for the entertainment center and so we could get knobs.  After we left Lowes, Mac did not really want to walk and so this is how I ended up carrying him.  He is so heavy!!!!
