Can't think of a cute title

Mac had a big boy breakfast of cinnamon roll pancakes.  He wasn't super sure of them but that might be because he wasn't super hungry (yup that's right....he didn't eat much today).

So Bella has what I think is a urinary tract infection and she is not feeling super good so we went to the pet stores to try to find medicine (not successful) so I think we might have to just end up taking her to the vet.  AAAHHHHHH when it rains bill.....it poors bills.......

Mac had a grand time "cooking" while Joe was brewing a new batch of beer.  He has decided that toys are currently not interesting to him right now....but wooden spoons and plastic bowls are!

 

For dinner, I put together a slow cooker recipe that I saw on Pinterest.  It was a slow cooker cubed steak and gravy.  It was DELISH.  We had a side of mashed potatoes with it.  Mac tore it up.  He LOVED the cubed steak....weird baby.  He had a lot of cubed steak on his face after eating so into the bath he went!  I am going to leave you with a funny picture...

Words cannot express how excited I was today when we beat Florida!  I was yelling at the tv.....so Mac was also yelling at the tv.  Silly baby!

We got stuff done today....I kind of feel accomplished.  We cleaned the garage.  I cleaned out the camper.  I discovered that if you leave can diet cokes in a fridge in a camper in Alaska and it is cold....they will explode.  I had to sweep up frozen diet coke chunks.  Weird.  I also found out that windex and hand soap freeze.  I also found out that V8 juice does not freeze and I am not quite sure how I feel about that......Oh and I made a batch of meatballs to freeze!  I might have put too much pureed veggies (carrots and cauliflower) in them....we shall see.

Joe ran to the grocery store and the homebrew store....I stayed home to watch my football game and to play with Mac.  I think his plan is to make a batch of Raspberry Wheat beer tonight....

We need to do a better job of eating better so we plotted our meals for the next week.  Here is what we have planned:

Sunday: slow cooker cubed steak with gravy, mashed potatoes
Monday:  General Tso chicken with rice
Tuesday:  Scrambled eggs and bacon
Wednesday:  Mary's meatballs with rice
Thursday:  Lemon pepper salmon packs with carrots and rice
Friday:  Meatball sandwiches

We carved pumpkins last night and they looked like this....

When I got up in the morning they did not at all look like that.  But I was rushing out the door with Mac so I couldn't really look.  When I got home after work, I looked.  This is what I saw.....

Christmas Break

Yes, I know it is not even Halloween yet and I am talking about Christmas.  This is my favorite part of the year though!!!!!!

We are planning flying in on Christmas Eve and planning on spending the first half of the vacay with Joe's family.  Then we are going to spend the 2nd half with my family.  We are super excited.

Joe has started a list of things that he wants to do/take Mac to.  He is ridiculous.

• Georgia Aquarium
• World of Coke
• Legoland
• Christmas lights at Lake Lanier
• Center for Puppetry Arts
• "some kind of swimming adventure" (Joe's words)
• Stone Mountain
• Commerce outlets (bring it on J. Crew and Polo!)

Can yall think of stuff we should do?  

What we are even more excited about are the restaurants.  We have started a list.  No joke.

Ideas for Mac

We have been asked a lot lately "what should we get Mac for Christmas?"  For a while, I honestly had no idea.  Now I am ready to throw out some ideas!

We are going to make Mac this for Christmas....

So maybe some tools to go with it?

I am also thinking we might make this....or something like it (it is a manipulation board....)

Pumpkin carving!

Today was a LONG day with lots of meetings.  The best part of my day?  Having my boys at home!  We were feeling a little lazy today so Joe picked up Dairy Queen on the way home.  For some weird reason, he decided to get Mac a hamburger.  Mac actually ate a good bit of it.  I was kind of surprised....



We decided to carve our family pumpkins today.  We each had one.  Mac and I had little ones and Joe had a BIG OLE pumpkin.  You know what is difficult?  Deciding what to carve on your pumpkin.  Mac really didn't want too much to do with the pumpkin guts but he really really liked the tops of the pumpkins.  I only had to get on to him once for trying to eat the stem.  He was flinging the seeds and guts all over the place.  Seriously.  At one point I looked down at Bella and she had seeds on her back....My dining room table required some serious scrubbing afterwards....

Not that you can tell in the pictures but Mac was a little dirty.  While Joe was carving pumpkins, I got to spend some great time with my little man while he took his bath.  He cracks me up in the bathtub.  He has got the cutest chunkiest little butt!

I was slightly worried that he was going to pee on me.

Mac gives the BEST kisses.  I was not feeling good yesterday and I think he knew that so I got lots of kisses....







After giving me sweet sweet kisses, he proceeded to go pull out shoes and play with them.

Joe got a really silly picture of Mac on the way to Erica's yesterday morning....it has been kind of cold lately (high of like 32 and lows in the single digits)....

Today, crazy baby has decided that he officially no longer likes chicken nuggets so we tried fish sticks. He ate one.  Food wise he is driving me NUTS.  I am sure that Erica thinks we are awful because we send him with the same stuff.  Seriously same stuff.  Muffins. Scrambled eggs.  Grilled cheese.  Meatballs.  That is about what he will eat.  AAARRRRGGGGHHHHHH.

Mac was sitting on the sofa at one point this afternoon and he started trying to sing along to the intro song of Spongebob.  It was ADORABLE!  We are going to try to get it on video eventually if we can...

One thing Mac loves..............bath time.  He would spend forever in the bathtub if he could.  That is one silly baby!  We really need to take him to H2Oasis (indoor water park up here) because I am sure that he would LOVE it!
