Sleeping baby= blog post time

I have a kind of sleeping baby in her MamaRoo swing (she was sleeping until Mac scared her by yelling).  AAAHHHHH.  She might go back to sleep though.....let's see if I can get this blog post done...

The other night Nora did not sleep well at all.  She was hot.  She was hungry.  It was game on time.  She got up for the day pretty early so I just put her in our bed and we snuggled.

Then she fully woke up and Mac got up so it was playtime downstairs.  Mac was telling Nora all sorts of stories and she LOVED it. She loves just sitting there staring at him.  It makes my heart happy!

Then Mac spent some crazy time just running in circles.  (dear goodness, if he does not stop randomly yelling or hitting something with his foot......)

When Joe got home, he did his usual thing and stole Nora for some cuddle time!  She is becoming a beast at lifting up that head.  I am pretty sure all of her weight is in her cheeks.  It makes me giggle.  I have no idea where she gets those cheeks from......she also has a crazy grip with those hands.  BEAST.

Our party then moved upstairs for some reason to our bed....oh now I am remember.  I needed to fold some stuff.

Rocket Launches & Birthdays

As I am typing this, I am listening to my husband and my daughter snore.  Mac is watching Disney Junior.  Life is happy.  This morning we went to the firestation.  Afterwards, we headed to get the men haircuts.  Mac got a balloon and no longer has a curly afro!

When we got home, it was way too nice to go inside so the boys headed outside to shoot off a rocket.  It is a stomp rocket launcher thing.  Mac loved it!

Even little Miss Nora got some sunshine time!

Mac and Nora got some quality snuggle time on our bed.  Watching them lay around together makes me smile.  Nora loves looking at him!

This is where they were at while we got ready to go to a birthday party.  I am pretty sure we are becoming professional birthday party goers.  A friend of Joe's little boy turned 3 and so went over to their house.  Mac had a great time playing with David!

I guess I probably should go give my Mac a bath now..........

I'm a Firefighter

This morning we met up with some other littles and toured Firestation #15.  Aimee (Oliver's mom) set it up.  The kiddos didn't pay too much attention at first.  We were in the conference room area and the firefighters were talking about safety.  They definitely paid WAY more attention when we headed to the weight room/workout room and even more so when we went outside to where the firetrucks were!  Mac got extremely excited whenever a firefighter would open any door on the firetruck.  It was extremely cute!  The kids were able to get inside the firetruck to take pictures too!  We were able to see where the firefighters sleep when they are on duty.  All in all it was an awesome time!  Plus it was totally free and entertaining to the kiddos.  Mac got a sticker, plastic firefighter hat, and a coloring book before we left.  Love random things like this!  (oh and Nora went as well!)
