Tattoos & Underwear

Mac tried drinking out of his cup....didn't work out so well.....

Since he had water all over him, it was time to change clothes.  Joe took him upstairs but when they came back down Mac was NOT in his pajamas.  Someone felt free in his big boy underwear.  He seriously just ran and stomped around.

Cell phone pictures:

He is seriously just a blur.

Attack!

Pictures from the good camera:

Guess what???? I also got it on video.....

Moving on to the next part of the night's entertainment.....tattoos.  Mac's first Citrus Lane box came with some tattoos that I shoved in a drawer and forgot about.  Until tonight.  Mac wanted tattoos so he got them.  He started on the belly.  Then we went to the bicep.  Then the tricep.  Then Joe got one.  Then I got one.  Then Mac got one on his foot.

Cell phone pictures:

Got pictures with the good camera too!

Around the house.

Not only did we see choo choos today, we got a LOT done around the house.

We spring cleaned the garage.  We definitely still have work to do but we ran out of room in our trashcan.

I also made some "art" for our naked wall downstairs.  I still need to get frames.  The "art" was to trace all three of our's hands on different scrapbook paper and then cut them out.  VOILA!  "Art."

Mac was in a great mood (probably had to do with the choo choos).  Got a couple of cute videos.

We hung up Mac's airplane and pictures in his bedroom.  This is also known as the only thing currently on his walls.  His room is slowly but surely coming together....

I folded about 7 loads of laundry today.  Joe just cleaned the floors and made muffins.  Busy busy busy!

Choo Choo

Mac has a thing for trains.  He has developed a love for Thomas the Train (which drives me insane).  Whatever.  He LOVES LOVES LOVES trains.  So we decided to take our little man to see a part of a train.

Close to our house is a historical snow blower thing for the trains.  He loved it!

(Get ready to be photo bombed!)

Look at Mac being a gentleman!

He looks like he is doing a train inspection.

This picture cracks me up!

And there was a little painting art time when we got home....

night night

Mac woke us up at 6:45 this morning by knocking on his door.  Joe got him and in our bed he went.  Did we go back to sleep?  Nope.  Mac told us that there was snow.  I told him that it was not possible....however, I was wrong.  When we went downstairs it was most definitely snowing.  Snow.  In May.  Welcome to Alaska!

Heyward was still happy to go outside even though the back porch was covered in this snow slush mix stuff.  He wore himself out.

We went out to run some errands.  I got some lemons and cut them up (along with some of my kitchen sill herbs) and boiled them to make my house smell clean.

Look how pretty!

Joe volunteered at the air show today so it was just me and Mac.  Mac decided the new fun game was to put me to bed (in his bed).  He seriously directed me to his bed, got out Tickle Monster, had me read it, gave me his Bopey, pulled the blankets up, gave me a kiss, got off the bed, and walked out of the room while blowing kisses and saying "night, night."

Even though we had some seriously cute moments.  Today, Mac made me cry.  Nope, didn't cry in front of him.  I was cleaning stuff off the floor (he was throwing a giant tantrum and threw food on the floor) and he got mad.  He walked up to me and hit me on my back.  Time out here we come.  For the first time (and I know I will hear it again but the first time hurts), Mac yelled "I want daddy, no mommy."  He stayed in time out for a long time.  He refused to say sorry.  He refused to give me a hug or a kiss.  When Joe got home, Mac was still in time out, screaming.  He still refused to say sorry.  Eventually, he did give me a hug and a kiss.  This mama took some alone time to sit upstairs and read.  That is when I cried.  I know that he will say it again and I know that it is something that I should expect but it hurt hearing it out of my little man's mouth for the first time.  Sad.

It's the freaking weekend and baby I'm about to have me some fun!

THANK GOODNESS IT IS FRIDAY!  Is it me or has this been a seriously long LONG LONG week?  Whatever!  It is the weekend now!

This week was spirit week at school and today was collegiate day.  I decided to dress Mac the same....

GO DAWGS!

Right now, Joe is making pizza for dinner!  We got the pizza dough and using sauce and made bacon and using pepperoni.  It is going to be DELISH.  For dessert, I made rice crispy treats.  I licked the spoon.  It probably is not going to last very long....

Today, my Mother's Day present came in the mail and Joe let me open it!  I got a label maker!  I am so incredibly excited.  I want to label everything.

I am in the middle of revamping our cookbook (it is too big and bulky).  I am retyping the recipes and putting more on a page.  It is just going to be better organized.  The point of me talking about our cookbook is because I am going to use my new label maker to label the dividers!  Now, I need to find a super cute binder to put the recipes in!

Spring?

Every Alaskan is currently questioning if Spring is going to make an appearance.  See?

One of the news channels posted this hilarious picture of a woman driving a snowmachine with a Saint Bernard in her lap.

Some good news in regards to Spring is that it has been raining which helps clear out the snow!  We don't have too much left in our yard.  What sucks now is that the yards are all gross and poopy (puppy and moose).

Yesterday, Mac wore one of Joe's old tshirts......So cute!

That face makes me giggle!

Mac had a great time playing with Heyward yesterday (or at least until Heyward nipped him).....but Mac did wear Heyward out!

When Mac put on his pajamas, he decided to start sagging his pants.

No sir you did not!

Joe fixed that real quick!

Put a ring on it....

I completely forgot to post these pictures for yall yesterday....Mac's new favorite thing to do with Heyward is to grab the end of the toy and pull Heyward around.  At the rate Heyward is growing, pretty soon he will be pulling Mac around.

I guess I probably should explain the title of this post.  Every year at the last pep assembly a group of teachers get together and do a dance.  This year we danced to Beyonce's "All the Single Ladies."  A video has already been posted to YouTube but you can't really see me.  I am in the back left corner with a green wig on.  This is another teacher and myself (in the boys locker room where we were hiding before we performed)....

I am going to attach the YouTube video (hopefully) so yall can at least see what I did today at work....

And here is the link.....

And here is the group (dancers and singers) after we walked out.......

Switching gears.......back to Mac!  We had Skyline Chili for dinner (gotta love freezing leftovers so I don't have to do any work later).  For some reason, Mac tore it up.  What that really means is that he loved the sauce and the pasta but HATED the beans and the hamburger.  Weird baby.

I do have a sweet story about Mac.  Joe gave Heyward a bath and I was holding him afterwards.  Heyward kept falling asleep.  Mac came over to look at him and saw that Heyward was sleeping.  What does Mac do?  He starts singing his version of "you are my sunshine" to Heyward.  I COMPLETELY wish I had been able to record it because it was the sweetest thing ever.  Of course the minute Joe came around, Mac wouldn't sing.  It still makes me smile thinking of him singing that song....
