Dino

Mac has decided his new thing is wearing his old dinosaur costume around.  Yep. He wore it to Target.  He wore it to Erica's.  He slept in it the other night. We probably need to figure out where to get another one for him.  I think the original one is from Old Navy's Halloween costume section.

On a rare happy work note, one of my sweet female behavior students brought me a rose in this morning.  She must have magical powers that I would need that today because less than 30 minutes after she gave it to me, one of my behavior kids blew up on me.

Check out my cute family.  This is what they were doing.  Right this second Nora is crawling on the floor and eating grass.  Gross.

How is it just Tuesday?

I left work today feeling like it was Thursday.  I got really really excited thinking that I had one more week under my belt at work....I experienced deep disappointment when I remembered that it was Tuesday.  According to all of the paperwork I did today, I did 4 separate meetings.  Fun.

The best part about today?  Watching my babies play together.

As I am typing this, I am listening to Mac talk to Joe while Joe is putting him to bed.  Mac's little voice is oh so sweet.  Ridiculously sweet.  I want to squeeze him.  I actually did spend some time this afternoon squeezing him.  His response?  He wanted to show me his tongue.  He's weird.

Joe had to run to the store because he had forgotten flour for our awesome dinner.  Nora was a moving machine.  She is getting FAST with her crawling.  It is kind of scary!  I would post the video but apparently none of y'all are able to see it.  Text me if you want me to send it back to you.  At one point, I chased Nora down the hall.  When I carried her back, Mac wanted to hold her in the chair.  He gave her some sweet kisses.  They are so stinking cute together.  It makes me crazy happy.

 
At one point, I put Nora back on the rug.  She started crawling towards me.  Then Joe handed me a fruit veggie pouch for her and then she seriously amped up her speed.  She is very motivated by food.  That might explain the roundness.

Joe got hold of her and did some throwing of the Chunk. She loves it.  However, she definitely lets it be known when she is done.

So at the end of the day I generally feel like crap.  And that is putting it nicely.  After a little bit of being home, I tend to just curl up with the heating pad.  Before I got to the heating pad today, I curled up with Mac.  And he was super comfortable as a teddy bear.

Now it is time for me to watch my favorite HGTV show and pick out my clothes for tomorrow.  I have so many clothes and nothing to wear.  The sunshine makes me want to wear spring clothes but it is still a little chilly.  Finding that happy medium is not easy.  Well, here goes nothing.......

Blog Check

I got home today at a reasonable time of 2:50.  Having a quiet house to myself was awesome!  Once my family got home, it was snuggles and play time.  I got some good snuggles with Mac.  He likes his afternoon snuggles.  I think it is his center.

Nora was crawling around on the floor.  Joe wanted her to come to him and I wanted her....Joe played dirty and brought out her food which of course made her crawl to him.  Cheater.

After the Chunk ate, it was play time with daddy while we waited to go over to the Lindeen's for family dinner night.  

Tonight was the Lindeen's night to host family dinner.  They made some yummy enchiladas.  Nora LOVED the refried beans and the enchiladas.  She did not care so much for rice.  She is a bottomless pit.  Henry and Mac had a great time playing together.  Mac kept saying that he wanted to spend the night.  I guess we might be at that age where he spends the night with other people.  He is getting so big!

The Lindeen's have chickens too and Mac fell in love.  Seriously in love with the chickens.  He now wants a chicken.  He thinks that the eggs we brought home are going to give him baby chicks.  He is mistaken.  But, seriously, he keeps talking about getting a chicken.  I think Joe is intrigued by chickens too....not going to happen while we live up here.  

Now here comes the trick...I am doing a test to see if y'all are still reading this.  I want to do a gallery wall of baby pictures.  I want to get a baby picture of each of our family members (Goodmama, Tas, MoeMoe, Papa Mike, all of our grandparents that have baby/little kid pictures).  I want to get together all of the baby pictures and frame them and then put them up in a gallery wall.  Your homework is to find a baby picture.  I am being serious! 

Sunday Funday

Today was a fun filled day. We went to the playground with our neighbors. We had the Marvels over for dinner.  The sun was shining.  We talked about going camping.
