Reflection Lake

Today, we scouted out Reflection Lake for a possible location to do our next round of family pictures.  That place was AWESOME.  I have no idea how we haven't been there before.  There was a path around the lake that was smooth enough that we pushed the stroller.  We put the double attachment on the stroller and took it offroading.  The lake was frozen over.  We found a random decorated tree in the woods.  We cannot wait to take our family pictures there next weekend!

Mac had to pee when we first got there and the yurt was way gross so Joe had Mac pee outside.  Yes, it is 20 degrees outside and Mac is peeing.

This was an awesome trip for us!

Family Play Date Night!

Mac was super hyper after dinner and Joe was trying to get Nora to fall asleep.  I decided to take Mac upstairs so he would have company while he played.  Eventually, Joe realized that Nora was not going to go to sleep so they came upstairs to play too!  Mac got his cars out.  Joe dumped the entire bucket out.  They played with some Squigz.  Nora kicked like a crazy person on the floor.  I sang the rap song Gangsta's Paradise because I know all of the words.  Mac danced to the Katy Perry song "Dark Horse" while he cleaned up his mess.  We all sat in the bed for Mac's bedtime story.  It's going to be a good weekend!

A week with the Cash family

Lately, work has been crazy for me.  I guess that is what happens when you are a special education teacher with a focus in behavior.  Crazy.  Yesterday I even have some kind of allergic reaction on my abdomin. Awesome.

Here are the pictures from this week...and if I get excited I will put captions!

The kids hanging out in our bed one morning while we were getting ready for work.

Erica posted this picture of Izzy almost pushing Mac off of his nap mat

I love me some chunky baby snuggles.

HI!  She loves looking at herself in the phone.

Erica posted this picture of Nora passed out on her sofa.  She looks so funny is this picture.  And she is definitely looking super chunky.

Look at the beyond adorable shoes that came in the mail that I ordered off of Etsy!  Nora is getting them for Christmas.  Cutest little shop let me custom pick the fabric.

Someone fell asleep on me while the boys were at soccer.

Apparently, this is what Joe came home from soccer to find.  We were tired!

This is what I found in my car this morning and I am pretty sure it puts me officially as a soccer mom.  That's a wierd thing to me.  I am old enough to be a soccer mom.  However, I will NOT be driving a minivan.  Nope.  Not happening.

"Where's Nora's......"

Nora is super buggery lately and seems to have a cold.  After we had family dinner, it was into the bath she went.  Apparently, Mac decided it was also his bathtime and walked into the bathroom with no clothes on except his shirt.  He couldn't figure out how to get it off because it was a button up.  He looks over at Nora and goes "Where's Nora's weiner?"  OH GOODNESS.  I was downstairs and hearing that question made me giggle.  Joe's response?  "She doesn't have one, buddy."  Apparently that answer was ok with Mac but he wanted to get into the bathtub....

Oh my kids.  When Mac first started eating, he was a pretty clean/neat eater.  We didn't even have to use bibs on him after a little bit.  I do not at all think that it's going to go that way with Nora.  She is MESSY.  Food ends up everywhere on her face and hands and clothes.  She currently likes all food that she has tried so far with the exception of rice cereal.  She didn't like that.  Carrots. Apples. Bananas. Sweet potatoes.

Mac is loving his mama snuggles lately which makes me crazy happy.  Now that my tummy doesn't have incisions, I can snuggle.  (I pulled out a stitch from my belly button the other night because it was driving me insane.  Those stitches were supposed to dissolve.  Whoopsie.)  The other night we fell asleep in the chair together.  Heart explodes with happiness.  Tonight we snuggled and I read him a book....then he read me the book.  I could just squeeze him.

We currently have a good ole fire going and the dogs are snuggled in front of it.  Check out how huge Heyward looks!  That rug is 5 feet wide and his back end is hanging off of it.  Large.

And here are some random pictures from Joe's phone from last week.......
