FAMILY: Rain Rain

It just keeps raining. Granted we needed it but still......we need to finish the trim.....can't do it because it is raining.  Oh well!  Yesterday, Joe continued to play in the state softball tournament.  His team won so they are playing today.  Mac and I are staying around the house and later going to my classroom.  I still have a lot to do in order to be ready for the kids to start on Wednesday.

Yesterday when Mac got up from his nap, he kept throwing crazy tantrums over I don't know what.

He eventually got over it.  We had a dinner of leftover beef stroganoff (with noodles this time instead of rice).  Mac tore it up.  He had it all over himself.  His face. His hands.  Everywhere.  He smelled like beef stroganoff.

After dinner, we did some snuggling on the sofa while watching Cars.  Mac for some reason has been shoving Mater, Lightning, and The King down the mouth of his giant elephant.  Who knows what toddlers think???

FAMILY: Whoopsie

Whoopsie.  Things have been a little crazy with me going back to work.....and Mac and I are going to my classroom tomorrow.  He likes to sit at all of the desks.  He is silly!  It is 8:46 on a Friday.  I am in my pajamas.  Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives is playing on the tv.  I am completely relaxed AND exhausted.  This is a polar opposite Friday evening than what I would have had like 5/6 years ago......ha.

Joe dressed Mac this morning (I would have NEVER chosen that shirt....GO DAWGS!).  I need to spend some extra time in my classroom because I have no idea what I am doing!

Joe is at his softball game.  Mac and I were doing some cuddling in the bed.  He says "Take picture of Mackey."  "Haha Mackey's mouth silly."  It cracks me up that he refers to himself in 3rd person.

This was a lazy afternoon moment while we were waiting on me to finish dinner.  All of my boys in one place!

Yesterday was my first day back at work.  I did not feel like cooking at all so we picked up Moose's Tooth (yay Avalanche pizza).  Mac wanted a slice of our pizza and then proceeded to scarf it down.  It surprised me because that particular pizza has a kick to it.  He then went on to eat like 5 chicken nuggets.  Big man.

This is the line of trucks that are in our bedroom right in the way of the door.  Mac lined them up a couple of days ago and Joe and I have been too lazy to actually move them.

Mac really likes to see himself as seen in the exhibit above.  He got pretty excited with the Mac selfies.

(this is not family related)  I got REALLY tired of our spice drawer.  I seriously could never find anything.  I had to pull every single spice out to find one thing.  I then had a genius idea (that I DID NOT find on Pinterest).  I was like, why don't I just label the top of the spices??????  So I did.  That makes my life a whole lot easier!

"Take picture Mackey's hair."  Seriously that is what he told me.  I am literally shaking my head as I type this.  I am going to have my hands full with him......

FAMILY: Mac Goes to the Dentist

Mac had his dentist appointment today and I was kind of nervous about it.  This is the kid that we have to get in a crazy wrestling hold just to brush his teeth.......

We got to the office and it was really cute (the walls were painted adorably).  There was a cute little kids playroom that Mac immediately found.....

They called us back and this is the only part of the appointment that Mac cried...and he cried because we took him away from the playroom.  Silly boy.  They put us in the Finding Nemo room which made Mac crazy happy.  The dental assistant cleaned Mac's teeth with a toothbrush (they can't use the electrical one yet because he is not old enough).

Mac did amazing!  He opened his mouth.  He didn't cry.  He didn't bite.  AMAZING.  While we were waiting for the dentist to come back, Mac "colored."

The dentist came in to look at Mac's teeth.  She said they look great and that his second year molars should be coming in sometime soon.  When they wanted him to open his mouth they told him "open your mouth like an alligator" well that didn't super influence him so I said "open your mouth like a dinosaur" and that did it!  That mouth came wide open.  The whole time the dentist's hand was in his mouth he was talking about dinosaurs' mouths and T-Rex's.  He is a silly little man who loves his dinosaurs.

FAMILY: Sharks.

Shark.  A hard plastic toy that Mac loves.  He particularly loves to shove it in the Chum Bucket toy that his Aunt Amy gave him to wake up Mater.  (yeah that makes no sense).  Today, Mac discovered what else the shark can do.  His friend Oliver came over to play....and whacked him across the face with the shark.  Mac had a bloody nose and everything.  He cried for roughly 1 minute.  I felt so bad for Oliver's mom because she was mortified.  I figure these things happen and all was good.  After they had a snack, we headed to the playground.  Oliver showed Mac the best puddles to jump in (the crazy sun came out for the first time in forever).  Mac had a great time!

Then Mac's crazy self decided to just lay in the playground floor.....

When I put Mac down for his nap, Bella decided it was her nap time too.  She is sweet and silly.....

FAMILY: "Take picture of Mackey"

That is Mac's new favorite phrase when he sees a phone or camera.

This was my view for a large portion of yesterday.....

It has been raining for over a week and we needed a fire (yup).

This morning Mac pulled out all of his trucks and lined them up across the bed....and then across the floor.....
