Day 1: Mac MoeMoe time

Mary had Mac all to herself today!  I am pretty sure she is tired!  She did take a couple of pictures of Mac today!  He spent a lot of time playing in his new ball pit.



He is spent some time today coloring!  He tends to hold writing utensils in his left hand so we are kind of thinking that he is going to be a leftie...

He also apparently just a giant doody today so Mary gave him a bath!  He LOVES bathtime!

Joe took the camper today to get winterized (aka so the pipes won't burst in the winter time!).  When he got home, we all headed to Sourdough Mining company for dinner! Mac had a great time drinking out of a big boy cup with a straw.  He also kept doing his evil laugh which caused the elderly couple sitting near us to laugh.....

Today was a FULL day.  Mac got a inflatable ball pit.  Joe got 2 new suits.  We went to the mall.  Bella got groomed.  Mary brought up little boy underwear for Mac....so cute!

Mac no lie ate 2 scrambled eggs for breakfast.  He woke up in a FANTASTIC mood...here is the proof!

After Mac ate, I decided to cook bacon.  I now cook bacon in a pot rather than a fry pan because I don't get splattered with hot grease.  Mac wanted to see what I had going on.  Silly baby.  Me holding him is the reason my arms look AWESOME!

I got some serious laundry done today and we got the new curtains hung up....we still need to make more striped curtains for the GIANT window in our living room.  Spent the day a little (and by little I mean a lot) pissed off at football.  I only watched the first 5 minutes of the UGA game before I decided it would just make me angry....but I did keep up with the score through my ESPN app on my phone.  Middle school teams look better than UGA did today.  DISAPPOINTING.  

We left around 5 to head to the airport to pick up Mary!  At first, Mac was not too sure of her and refused to go to her (I felt so bad) but he only wanted Joe....he got over that.  He ran all over the place while we were waiting for the luggage!  

  

DIY striped curtains

I saw this great idea on Pinterest to do our own horizontal stripe curtains.  Curtains are so crazy expensive!!!  Our living room (and eventually bedroom) definitely need something to help with the windows....

We got cheapo white panel curtains from Lowes and painters tape and Valspar spray paint.  Oh and we got construction paper to cover the parts of the curtains that we wanted to keep white.

Bring on the Snow!

Today I went to pick up our new snow blower! I ended up going with the next model up from the one I was going to get because the Snow Blowers were on sale. Its the Troy-Bilt Storm 2620:

I don't think I'm going to have to do much shoveling this year! On another note I was doing a sort observation this morning and heard this loud high pitched noise... On closer observation, it was a ton of chick being shipped overseas.

While I was off getting our snow blower Jami gave Mac as bowl and a spatula, he has such a good time playing with it! Later he put it on the coffee table and started putting his trucks in it. He is so funny! He moves his trucks all around the house. They usually end up on top of me or Jami...

Finally, I went to Fred Meyer to pick up some ground coffee for us for tomorrow and saw the most beautiful sunset on the way home.

Mac's hair has gotten ridiculous! I think that it is about time someone gets a haircut! His MoeMoe is gonna have to help with that this weekend....
