Fake Friday

Today is my fake Friday which is awesome!  I took a personal day tomorrow and it is going to be awesome.  I have no idea what I am going to do but it is still going to be awesome!

Our dog has gotten extremely lazy.  He likes to be under our feet while we are in the kitchen.

This morning we headed to Carls Junior for breakfast biscuits and a little Mac playtime.  Mac ate cereal (because they apparently sell that at Carls Junior) and had a blast playing on the playground.  We had that entire thing to ourselves.  

See? So much fun!

This was a little bit ago right before Nora went to sleep.  Check out chunky baby hands.  I love baby hands.  They are incredible!  I like to chomp on them!

Superheroes

So we have already painted Mac's superhero castle and the next step was to paint superheroes.  I scoured Pinterest and found peg people.  No way was I spending like $80 on peg people.  I headed myself to Michaels and found blank wooden peg people.  I pulled up sample pictures on Pinterest and invested in some teeny tiny paintbrushes.  I made Joe paint the Hulk one and then he got super involved in it and painted a bunch of them!  Best husband!

Without further ado, here are the final versions of the superheroes.  Mac is beyond excited!  He had us put them in the superhero castle as we finished them.  Not going to lie, but I think Joe and I did a dang good job!

Cash Family Travels

I got a little bit of cabin fever this morning so we decided to get in the car and head South.  We drove an hour down the road and then we came back.  It was super overcast and gave the appearance that we live in a black and white colored only world.  It was kind of weird but amazingly beautiful at the same time.
