Dear Goodness

Nora is becoming a sitting machine.  She is still a little wobbly with it.  I blame her giant cheeks.

She is also trying to get her knees under her to try to crawl.  Oh boy.  We are in trouble when she becomes super mobile.  Right now, she just rolls to get where she wants to go...also known as when she wants her pacifier or one of Mac's toys.

Mac is the person who gets Nora laughing the hardest.  He was pretending to eat her by making chomping noises and she was cracking up laughing.  She would laugh so hard while sitting up that it would knock her over.  I wasn't able to get any videos of Mac making her giggle but I did get some of Joe getting her to giggle.  That little Chunk is crazy ticklish....

She gets sleepy super early so she passed out on Joe's chest after consuming her third bottle since she got home....She sleeps all night so when she is awake, she wants to eat!  Check out that chubby little hand!

Birthday Parties

We have figured out our kids' birthday themes and stuff.  Whew!  Keep an eye out for cute party stuff for them...needless to say, finding party stuff is a little difficult up here in Alaska!

Mac:
-Super hero theme (Spiderman, Hulk, Ironman, Batman, Captain America, Superman, etc.)
-We will hold it at the same venue as last year (Alaska Club West indoor playground)
-Haven't booked it yet...probably should do that
-We have decided to buy Mac a Leapfrog LeapPad Ultra for his birthday!  All he will need is games to go with it!  We have discovered that they are way cheaper on Amazon than in Target or Babies R Us.

Nora:
-Lemonade stand theme (yellow and pink)
-We will hold it at our house and mostly be outside because it will be summer time!
-We are going to build her a mini lemonade play stand.
-We will probably buy Nora her own Pottery Barn Kids chair for her present!

**As I am typing this, Nora has rolled across the rug and is now playing with my slipper.....

Sealife Center

On New Years Day, we all bundled up and headed down to Seward to go check out the Sealife Center.  I love that place.  My kids love that place.  My parents had never been.  Win win.  What we didn't expect was the INSANE wind that took over when we got down there.  It was hard to push the stroller into the aquarium.  Once we got into the Sealife Center, it was all good...minus my Godzilla being a hyper, not-listening Godzilla.  Nora on the otherhand LOVED the Sealife Center.  She loved looking at the fish and the tanks.  She was pretty happy about the whole thing.

Teething and Feeding

Nora is chewing anything and everything.  She is like a rabid goat.  I am pretty sure that her top teeth are going to come in before her bottom teeth.  Rabid goat.

Nora can't decide if she wants to eat or chew on her fingers as Tas experienced when he tried to feed her....
