Playground and cleaning

Mac had a great time today!  We have discovered that he LOVES playing with our canned goods....

He also really likes playing with the broom.  Maybe he will get better at sweeping so I don't have to do it?  I hate sweeping.

This morning we decided to head to the playground at the elementary school down the road from us.  Mac LOVED the swings and the slides.  He is such a silly baby!

booty bounce, vote, dippers, & ......

This morning Mac was in an awesome mood (and he was super hungry).  He ate breakfast....and then we became awesome parents and let him have some of his halloween candy.  This led to baby booty bounce....

I then headed out to go vote.  I was actually the first person in line this morning to vote!!!!!  Once they opened the doors it did not take long at all!

Mac went down for a "nap" when I got back from voting.  By "nap" I mean he was in his crib for a while but he sang, talked, babbled, and jumped the entire time.  Then he did the thing that involved 15 baby wipes.  I fixed him a grilled cheese sandwich and he decided to "read" while he ate....

When Joe got home from voting, we made a grocery list and headed out to run errands.  One of the places we went was Babies R Us.  We got Mac some new cups.  He now drinks out of the Tommee Tippee Explora cups.  They make Mac drink out of them like they are regular cups and they are spill proof (totally needed).  He carried them all over the grocery store.  

When we got home from the grocery store, Joe and Mac cleaned out the fridge....

Cleaning is hard work so Mac wanted a snack.  While we were at the grocery store, this lady gave us a sample of the Gerber Graduates Little Dippers in wild berry.  We decided to give him the little dippers to see what he would do.  He TORE IT UP.  

 This is what he LOVED.  I am thinking we might order this in bulk off of Amazon or find where we can get it for a good price.  Mac LOVED it!

15 baby wipes

Today, Mac did something so gross in his diaper that it required 15 baby wipes (Yes, I know this is TMI and yes, I know I should have probably just stuck in him the bathtub but we were a little past that point).  Our entire house smelled terrible.  So I did what I do when our house gets stunk up.....I put about 4 cinnamon sticks in some water and boil it on the stove.  It makes our house smell so much better!

KISS

I got a super sloppy milk and granola bar kiss from Mac today.  It made me giggle.

After he ate, he became a stinky stinky boy and we had to change his diaper so we decided to go ahead and do bath time.  He loves bath time so much.  He ran butt naked from his room directly to the bathtub and tried to jump in.  He was worried he would fall so he held a hand up for me to help.  Brings a smile to my face (as does his chunky butt).

After bath time, it was book time!  Joe giggled his way through "Hop on Pop".  I am not kidding.  Giggled.
