We chose a culdesac lot in the back of the neighborhood that sits on roughly .75 acres. We are right down the road from one of the pools (there is a salt water pool and a chlorine pool)! We have chosen the Kaylee floor plan for our lot. We have plans down the road to completely finish out the basement so that Joe can have his man cave. We also decided to get a full length front porch. We also added a large game day deck on the back of the house with an outdoor fireplace that will host the tv! I cannot wait to spend some quality time on that porch watching some football! Oh, and we also upgraded to have a built in mud room right near the garage.
Without further ado, here are the colors that we have chosen for our house. We chose all of this is a span of less than 30 minutes. BOOYAH!
Caramel Fantasy: This is the stone that will be on our countertops in kitchen and on the kitchen island.
Santa Cecilla Light: This will be the master bathroom counters.
Gunstock: Flooring downstairs (minus family room and formal living room)
Espresso: Our kitchen cabinets and bathroom cabinets are in the Espresso color. For some reason, it photographs as black rather than dark brown.
White Marble: The 1.5 other bathroom counters in the house will be this color.
Grys: This is going to be the tile in the master bathroom.
Siding: The larger color (Argos) is the main siding color of our house. The smaller color (Nebulous White) is going to be the accent color at the front of the house.
Ortega: The front of our house is going to be primarily brick and this is the brick that we have chosen.
Mossy Creek: There is accent stone on the front of the house as well. This brick will also be featured on our game day back porch.
We went with a black roof. Our shutters and front door will also be black.
There is going to be this linoleum in the bathroom floors and laundry room floor.
We are going to have carpet in the formal living room (which we are turning into the office) and our family room. The upstairs will also be carpeted. We went with this light oatmeal colored carpet.
This is going to be the backsplash in our kitchen.
Other random things that I might have left out or did not get pictures of:
We will have oil rubbed bronze throughout the house. We will have a room upstairs that is designated as a "media room" that we are making the kids playroom. The garage doors are like carriage doors and will have hardware on them. They are also going to be front facing. Our interior paint is going to be all one color which is a light gray. We will have a double oven in the kitchen and all of our appliances are stainless steel. There is a fireplace in the family room. There is also wainscoating in the dining room as well as a coffered ceiling.
We are pretty dang excited! Joe meets with the builder this Tuesday so we can get a better idea of timeline.
